Shipping Policy

We are committed to delivering your purchases promptly and reliably. Currently, we ship to addresses within Canada only​. All orders are processed within 1–2 business days, after which you will receive a confirmation with tracking information so you can follow your package’s journey​.

Delivery times depend on your location. Generally, orders arrive within about 3–7 business days after dispatch, though local GTA (Greater Toronto Area) orders may arrive sooner, and more remote locations could take a few extra days. During checkout, you will see an estimated delivery date based on the shipping method you select​.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and destination of your order, with exact rates displayed at checkout. In many cases, our shipping rates are weight-based – this means heavier orders may incur higher shipping fees, in accordance with carrier rates (weights are rounded up to the next pound for accuracy)​. We aim to keep shipping affordable and occasionally offer promotions (such as free or discounted shipping) which will be clearly indicated on our site if available. If you have special shipping requirements or bulk orders, please contact us to discuss the best shipping arrangements.

International Shipping: At this time, our Furqaan Bookstore Canada online store primarily serves customers within Canada. If you are located outside Canada and wish to order our products, please contact us to discuss possible arrangements. We do have sister stores and distribution (for example, in the USA and Turkey) that handle international orders​.

Customers ordering from outside of Canada should be aware that additional customs fees or import taxes may apply, for which the customer would be responsible.

Returns & Refunds Policy

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, we offer a straightforward return and exchange policy:

  • Return Period: We accept returns or exchanges within 14 days of delivery​. If 14 days have passed since you received the item, unfortunately we may not be able to offer a refund or exchange. (No returns are accepted beyond 30 days from delivery in any case​.)
  • Eligibility: Items must be in their original condition for a return or exchange to be processed​. This means books and other products should be unopened (if originally shrink-wrapped) and unused, with no markings, folds, or damage. Sealed media products (such as CDs, DVDs, or puzzles/games) must remain unopened in their original packaging to qualify for a return​. Likewise, apparel or clothing items should be unworn and unwashed, with any original tags still attached. We reserve the right to refuse a return if an item is not returned in saleable condition​.
  • Return Process: To initiate a return or exchange, please contact our customer service with your order number and details about the product you wish to return​. Our team will respond with instructions on how to send the item back. In many cases, we will provide you with the return shipping address and any authorization needed. Please do not send back any items before contacting us, as we need to ensure your return is properly documented and directed to the correct return center.
  • Return Shipping Costs: If the return is due to an error on our part – for example, if you received an incorrect item or a defective/damaged product – we will cover the return shipping cost and provide you with a prepaid shipping label or reimbursement​. For other returns (such as if you changed your mind or ordered the wrong item), the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost​. We can assist in suggesting the best shipping method for your return, but the cost in these cases will be at your expense.
  • Refunds: Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and process your refund or exchange promptly. Refunds for approved returns will be issued to your original method of payment. You should expect to receive the refund within about 2–4 weeks of sending your package back to us​. In many cases, it will be sooner – this timeframe accounts for the shipping transit time back to us (which can be 5-10 business days), our processing time for the return (typically 3-5 business days), and your bank’s processing time for the refund credit (another 5-10 business days)​. We will notify you via email once your return is received and again when your refund has been processed. If you requested an exchange, we will ship out the new item as soon as the return is received and processed (subject to the replacement item’s availability).

Exceptions & Important Notes: Clearance or final sale items (if any are marked as such on our site) may not be eligible for return – these will be indicated on the product page. Digital products or E-books are generally non-refundable once downloaded or accessed. If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, please refer to our policy below or FAQs on damaged items – we will make it right. Finally, before returning any Quran or Islamic literature, we kindly ask that you handle the items with respect.
